Everest summit Mrs. Tabei, who was considered a "weak" child, and was 4 feet 9 inches tall, also became the first woman to successfully climb all seven summits. Mrs. Tabei was a humility personified individual, who always mentioned that she happens to be the 36th person to reach the Mt. Everest summit rather than proudly mention that she is the first woman to complete the summit.
